NOTICE OF RACE
1. RULES
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing. The sailing instructions are common to three waterfront regattas and will be circulated under the banner of the Dun Laoghaire Combined Clubs. (Please retain them for subsequent Club Regattas in 2018.)
2. ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS.
Boats in the following classes shall be eligible to enter and the schedule of racing shall be as indicated below:

**Water Wags race on Wednesday 27th June 2018. Prizes will be awarded on the evening of the race in the Clubhouse– Entry fee €10.00
The declaration on the form must be completed by the boat owner or his/her authorized representative and, if the owner is under 18 years of age, by his/her parent or guardian.
Entries close at 22:00 on Thursday the 29th June 2018. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Committee and only on payment of a €15 late entry fee. Queries to

3. ENTRY FEES.
Water Wags €10 - Wednesday 27 June
Mixed Sportboats, Cruiser Class 0, 1, 2 and Cruiser 5a/5b ECHO only - €55 add IRC 2018 + €10
Cruiser Class 3 ECHO only - €50 add IRC 2018 + €10
Beneteau 31.7 One Design - €55 add ECHO + €10
Shipman, SB20, Dragon, Glen, Ruffian, Beneteau 21 - €50
Howth 17, Flying Fifteen, Squib, Mermaid, PY 2-Handed dinghy €35
Lasers, International Moth, 1-Person dinghy - €25
4. HANDICAPS and DIVISION of CLASSES.
Fleets will be divided on the following basis (subject to the committee's right to allocate a boat to any class):
Boats in other Cruiser Classes will be divided on the basis of their ISA Standard ECHO Reference Handicap.
Class TCF Range
Cruisers Class 0: 1.035 and above
Cruisers Class 1: 0.980 to 1.034
Cruisers Class 2: 0.920 to 0.979
Cruisers Class 3: 0.820 to 0.919
Boats with ratings lower than a minimum rating of the class above them may participate in that class but such boats shall accept the minimum rating of that class.
5. ASHORE
All Owners, Skippers, Crew and volunteers will be Honorary Members of the RIYC on the day of the Regatta. This privilege may be withdrawn at the discretion of the committee.
Prize giving will take place at approximately 18.30
There will be a barbecue (outside, weather permitting), and entertainment, after sailing.
